I love the show and even though this season has been slow, it's the only show I look forward to watching each week. I feel very invested in all the Pearson Kate. But I don't know why! I just find her storyline so drawn out and I don't think were shown any redeeming features at this stage. She's been great with Jack (the baby) but other than that, that's it - she's just constantly moaning and even though I know she's in the right, I just find it so hard to care about her. Is it just me or has her storyline suffered this season.

Yes. I had the same issue. I couldnt get into it at all. I needed time to develop a connection to the characters, the world, and the politics After about 5-7 hours, I was extremely hooked. The game just keeps opening up more and more as you play until about half way through the game. At that point, its essentially completely open world and becomes incredibly addicting I beat XIII and XIII-2 like they owed me money. The meta/endgame of both games is incredibly diverse and allows for a lot of fun to be had. But thats just a classic FF feature anyway. They love to let you go to the moon and beyond Its been years since I played it on PlayStation 3. But I still bought it on steam because of how much I liked it. Lmao Definitely not one of the best FF by any means, but an incredibly solid game once you get used to all the new shit they put in that one.

I think people are being way too hard on both Kate and Toby when it comes to how they are dealing with Jack's diagnoses. I have seen people say that Toby is selfish and unloving towards his son and how Kate is reacting too strongly to Toby coming clean about how sad he feels when he looks at Jack. I don't have a blind kid but one of my kids is Deaf. He was born Deaf and my husband and I had different reactions after finding out. My husband was hopeful that hearing aides or cochlear implants would give our son useful hearing. When we discussed scheduling our son for surgery to get his cochlear implant, I took down notes and reminded my husband that this wouldn't give our son "normal" hearing. My husband said he was just hoping for something because he couldn't imagine having to go through life with a kid who would never hear. We did the implant but it did not give my son any useful hearing. Our son was profoundly Deaf and was going to stay that way. I was already learning sign language and practicing with our toddler. We added some more stress by getting pregnant again when my son was still under a year old and that almost pushed my husband over the edge. I was stressed, pregnant, and trying to parent a toddler and an infant. During our biggest argument I told my husband to quiet down and he said, It's not like our son can even hear us. It was the worst thing he ever said and he took it back immediately, but it still hurt. I knew he was hurting. He loved music (we both do/did) and the idea of his son never hearing the sound of an instrument or jamming out in the car to rock was hard for my husband. It may not seem like a big deal but that was how my husband bonded with his dad. Sunday evenings in the garage fixing the car and rocking out. My husband was upset about the small things too. Even the simple fact that our son would never hear our voice hurt my husband more deeply than it hurt me. He explained that parents are supposed to fix things and make them better. To not be able to fix this really got to him. My husband did eventually get some therapy and came along. He learned ASL alongside our toddler and is so fluent now that he often signs at work. All of our kids (now 17, 15, and 14) are fluent as well and we have found that we can't watch TV without subtitles and usually end up signing instead of talking even if the Deaf one isn't home. We all changed but it took a lot longer for my husband to reach the point of acceptance. There are still days where my husband wishes our son can hear (to be honest I do as well) but it no longer makes him sad.

On this particular night of this particular unspecified timeline, a new arrival is abandoned by a human. This is Victoria (Royal Ballet principal Francesca Hayward in her feature film debut) a shy white kitten, quickly thrust into the world of the Jellicles.
She is introduced to each prominent member of the Jellicles by Munkustrap (Robbie Fairchild) a sort of narrator in the vein of the Bandleader from Chicago) from Gumbie cat Jennyanydots (Rebel Wilson) whose laziness is a front for her attempts to teach the creatures in her home how to work, and Rum Tum Tugger (Jason Derulo) a picky, self-centered rebel, to Bustopher Jones (James Corden) a remarkably fat "cat about town" the troublemaking catburglar duo of Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer (Danny Collins and Naoimh Morgan) and the outcast Grizabella (Jennifer Hudson) banished by the Jellicles for getting involved with the villainous Macavity (Idris Elba) a master criminal with supernatural abilities. Bombalurina (Taylor Swift) in this iteration, instead of being a Jellicle herself, is Macavity's henchwoman. Swift's performance with Macavity's song is the biggest praise most critics have given the film.
The visual effects are downright horrifying (I'm not entirely sure which version I've seen because I can't seem to find Dench's human hand) Jennyanydots removes her fur for a suit that's easier to dance in and she consumes cockroaches with human faces for no discernible reason. But I am a fellow who loves the uncanny valley, as well as the terrified noises of innocent audience members. Hell, my third trip resulted in my two friends leaving around the time of the obviously award-bait original song "Beautiful Ghosts" and then the theater erupted into a full-blown MST3K session.
In no way whatsoever is Cats a good movie nor will it be any kind of award contender (except maybe the Razzies because they seem to carelessly give the award to whatever's the most hated) but, beyond the initial terror you may get within the first twenty minutes, you can have a lot of fun riffing it. Surely there will be others in your theater who have the same idea.
